Korea Finder (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a product of EDif Holdings, Inc., operates the koreafinder.kr website and the Korea Finder mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information We Collect
- Account data: name, email address, country of origin, academic status — collected when you create an account in the Korea Finder app
- Inquiry data: name, email, school, and message — when you submit an “Express Interest” form
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, app interactions — collected via Firebase Analytics
- Device data: device type, OS version, app version — collected automatically
How We Use Your Information
- To respond to program inquiries and match you with relevant programs
- To provide and improve the Korea Finder app and website
- To send you program updates and announcements (only if you opt in)
- To comply with legal obligations
Data Storage and Security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Auth), hosted in the Asia Northeast 3 (Seoul) region. We use Firebase security rules to restrict access. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-Party Services
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics). Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Firebase. We use Google Sign-In in the Korea Finder app.
Your Rights
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting privacy@koreafinder.kr. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
