Korea Finder (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a product of KRAVEDU Inc., operates the koreafinder.kr website and the Korea Finder mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information.
Information we collect
- Account data: name, email, country of origin, academic status — collected when you create an account in the Korea Finder app.
- Inquiry data: name, email, country, school, and message — when you submit an “Express Interest” form.
- Usage data: pages viewed, features used, app interactions — collected via Firebase Analytics.
- Device data: device type, OS version, app version — collected automatically.
How we use your information
- Respond to program inquiries and match you with relevant programs.
- Provide and improve the Korea Finder app and website.
- Send you program updates and announcements (only if you opt in).
- Comply with legal obligations.
Data storage and security
Your data is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore and Firebase Authentication), hosted in the Asia Northeast 3 (Seoul) region. We use Firebase security rules to restrict access. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Third-party services
We use Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics). Google's privacy policy applies to data processed by Firebase. We use Google Sign-In in the Korea Finder app.
Your rights
You may request deletion of your account and data at any time by contacting privacy@koreafinder.kr. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
